TWELFTH NIGHT

WEDNESDAY 13TH FEBRUARY – 7:30PM Ends Friday 15th February

Peterborough Cathedral

PE1 1XS

Tickets £11 – £25

This event is certainly one not to be missed! Produced and performed by Peterborough’s very own Gearbox Theatre Company, they introduce audiences to a combination of witty, comedic Shakespearean language, an indulge into the cathedrals aesthetics and some great music!

All this, wrapped up in their take of Twelfth Night. Music truly is the food of love, and if you are a true melodic lover, this is the event for you!

This Shakespearean comedic adaption takes on ‘love and marriage, laughter, mischief and cross-dressing. A sixties skiffle band harmonises with a cathedral organ to create the original and somewhat nostalgic soundtrack’. Get yourselves to Peterborough Cathedral on the 13th! Find out more here.

PFBC: LIBERTY BY VIRGINA WOOLF

WEDNESDAY 27TH FEBRUARY – 7:30PM

METAL, Chauffeurs Cottage

PE1 1YX

FREE

Virginia Woolf leads us on a transformative journey through liberating powers of the mind. This is the first Feminist book club of the year, and with a piece of writing as significant and emotive, what a start that is.

The book that will be discussed is Liberty, an exploration and understanding as to why women were barred from writing and the pursuit taken to break through that wall, stopping creative and talented female writers from speaking truths, and revelations.

This meeting is free, for everyone and all are welcomed to join us. Find out more here.
