Discover how plants can be used to make a rainbow of colours in our reconstructed Bronze Age Roundhouse!

After an introduction to natural dyes and their history, you can make a spectrum of colours to dye linen and spun British wool as they would have done to make clothes 2,000 years ago. Learn how to make a dye bath and use mordants. Includes an authentic 1st century AD lunch cooked over the roundhouse fire (vegetarian option available).

Over 16s only.

Booking is essential for all our workshops. To book, please visit our website or call Peterborough Museum at 01733 864663. If you require any further information, please call the Museum or email museum@vivacity-peterborough.com
