THE PREMISE IS THIS, EACH POET HAS 3 MINUTES TO IMPRESS THE AUDIENCE. JUDGES WILL THEN SCORE THEM OUT OF 10. OUR SLAMMERS WILL COMPETE OVER THE COURSE OF TWO ROUNDS, THE WINNER, WILL WALK AWAY WITH A HUMBLE CASH PRIZE AND THE HONOUR OF BEING PETERBOROUGH’S GOOD SHOUT SLAM CHAMPION!
Featuring special guest, Ross Sutherland;
Ross Sutherland is a playwright, radio-maker and filmmaker. He is the writer/producer of the experimental fiction podcast, Imaginary Advice (winner, 2018 British Podcast Award, Best Fiction). His theatre credits include The Exorcism, Party Trap and Stand By for Tape Back-Up. His film adaptation of Stand By… won the Grand Jury Prize for Experimental Film at BAFICI in 2017. Screenwriting credits include Missing Episode (BBC2) and the mini-series Devil in Fancy Dress (Channel 4). He has four collections of poetry. The latest is Emergency Window (Penned in the Margins).

Each performer gets 3 minutes, performers that exceed 3 minutes will lose points. Anything longer than 3 minutes 30 and you will be cut off!
