VENUE: Metal Chauffeurs Cottage, St Peter’s road, Peterborough, PE1 1YX

Writer and performer Ross Sutherland will showcase his live performance of his award winning podcast ‘Imaginary advice’ at Metal, Chauffeurs Cottage. Nominated for Best Fiction Podcast at the 2018 British Podcast Awards, Imaginary Advice is an exploration of new forms of audio storytelling.

Created by Ross Sutherland (BBC2’s Missing Episode; Stand By For Tape Back Up), past episodes have included a love monologue recorded at a drum and bass rave, a cut-up poem created out of an episode of the Today Programme, and a mashup of Jay Z’s Black Album with the Tate Modern audioguide.

For this special live version of the podcast, Ross presents a selection of brand new stories, both true and imaginary. Special guest Mark Grist will also be joining Ross onstage for a conversation and preview of his forthcoming new podcast, Mark Can’t Rap.
