Piccolo – Ffliwt Bach!
Our March Piccolo falls on St David’s Day (Dydd Gŵyl Dewi) and so we’re going all Land of My Fathers at Piccolo for the occasion!
Our musicians for the day are Eleanor Turner (on harp) and Eliza Marshall (on flute), and Eleanor is promising us a programme with lots of Welsh songs. But in case all that cerddoriaeth Gymreig is a bit too much for you, Eleanor and Eliza will also be sneaking in some Lion King themed African sounds…
As ever, doors open at 10am and the music starts at 10.30. Admission is £4 per adult accompanied by one or more children under five. There are free refreshments (tea/coffee/squash and biscuits) for all. Additional donations for the refreshments are welcome!
Piccolo is a monthly concert for young children, held in St John’s Church in the centre of Peterborough. Each concert lasts approximately an hour; usually the last ten minutes are songs or dances that the children can join in on, with singing, actions, and an instrument from our box of unbreakable child-friendly musical instruments. Piccolo has been running every month except January and August since September 2015.
