Part of the Peterborough Presents… Music Takeover

Recorders Galore is a group of around 20 players performing a wide range of pieces from ancient to modern. Performances usually combine the four most common types of recorder; bass, tenor, treble (alto) and soprano (descant). Occasionally sopranino or great bass are added.

Led by musical director Jan Theedom, you’ll learn and perform songs from the Recorders Galore repertoire. You’ll need to be able to play all the notes and sight read a piece, but apart from that your current playing standard is not important. So if you learned and school and always meant to take it further, or you are fed up of playing alone, then this is the workshop for you.
