In January’s What Next? meeting we will be joined Nicola Francis from Peterborough City Council. Nicola will be talking about the Integration Communities Innovation Fund. This is a pilot project, funded by central government, which is supporting strategic interventions, rather than project activity, which will improve social cohesion.
The fund’s priorities are work that has had proven impact, either locally or elsewhere, in improving social cohesion. More info about the fund can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/integrated-communities-innovation-fund
What is What Next?
What Next? is a national movement bringing together arts and cultural organisations from across the UK to articulate and strengthen the role of culture in our society, through informed conversations with each other, audiences, policy makers, community leaders, politicians, funders, academics, business people and the public. It is an organically growing network, not ‘owned’ by anyone.
About the Chapter
This is a new chapter set up to provide a great opportunity for the arts and cultural sector in the city to come together, make connections, discuss issues and look at ways we can work together.
Everyone is welcome, whether from an organisation or individuals and from all art forms.
In January’s meeting we will be joined Nicola Francis from Peterborough City Council talking about the Integration Strategy, a pilot project looking at strategic interventions founded on evidence based outcomes, which will improve social cohesion. There is a preference for work that has had proven impact either locally or elsewhere.
