Join us for a participatory conference at the National Maritime Museum to discover the benefits of museum/school partnerships for creative literacy learning. Take part in workshops with museum professional, teachers, writers, poets and art organisations to explore the stories from the sea project and other inspirational literacy projects.

About Stories from the Sea: Stories from the Sea is a partnership project between the national Maritime Museum in Greenwich and the time and tide Museum in Great Yarmouth. Funded by Arts Council England’s Museum and schools programme. The Stories from the sea project supports the development of children’s writing by inspiring the young writers of tomorrow to explore our local and national maritime past through world class museum collections, intriguing stories and unforgettable characters.
