Celebrate the New Year with Family at Peterborough Presents’ Boogaloo Family Raves

On Saturday 2nd January, Halo nightclub will open its doors in the daytime for parents and little ones to celebrate the new year. Party with the whole family at Boogaloo Baby Rave from 12-2pm and Boogaloo Kids Rave from 3-5pm.

Boogaloo Baby Rave and Boogaloo Kids Rave are daytime dance parties for parents with babies, toddlers and children with real club DJs on the decks, spinning floor-fillers from the 70s through to present day hits. You and your little ones are guaranteed to throw shapes, groove and rave to beats at a baby-friendly volume.

After the huge success of Baby Loves Disco and Pop Lock-In events in April as part of their Music Takeover, Peterborough Presents have teamed up with Halo nightclub and creative arts organisation Cyan Maiden to produce another family friendly afternoon of entertainment.

Boogaloo Baby Rave is aimed at babies and young children under 6, and Boogaloo Kids Rave is aimed at primary school children, but the age guidelines are only a suggestion as each rave will be slightly different. We know some families will have children both under and over 6 years old, and we wouldn’t want to split the family up, so children of all ages are welcome at either event!

As well as the dancing, there will be a chill-out zone, arts and crafts activities, a full spread of kid-friendly snacks and juice boxes, games and competitions and giveaways and prizes, and all of this in included in the entry price. At Boogaloo Kids Rave there will also be an expert dance instructor getting the dancers to learn some of the freshest dance moves.

Boogaloo Baby Rave and Boogaloo Kids Rave are on Saturday 2nd January at Halo nightclub from midday. Under 1s go free, £5 plus booking fee from everyone else, available on Eventbrite. Children must be accompanied at all times, so don’t forget to buy yourself a ticket too. For more information visit the Peterborough Presents Facebook page.
