Peterborough Presents are delighted to announce their 2017 community commissions. The three projects will be working across Bretton, Hampton, and Millfield, bringing great art to your doorstep. Each project will be completely unique to the area, and will be a fun opportunity for residents of all ages and backgrounds to get creative and work together.

We’ll start announcing more about each project very soon, but in the mean time you can get to know a bit more about each lead artist by visiting their websites:

 

BRETTON – Katy Hawkins

Project summed up in one sentence: A chance to creatively re-imagine Bretton’s beloved green spaces through collaborative walks, exhibitions, and interventions.

HAMPTON – Eastern Angles

Project summed up in one sentence: Creating Hampton’s very own folklore through a range of workshops and performances spanning storytelling to monster building to digital art, co-produced by Lamphouse Theatre.

MILLFIELD – Paper Rhino

Project summed up in one sentence: Bringing creativity and colour to Lincoln Road through street art murals inspired by local people and stories.
