18th October
5pm – 7pm
Focus Centre, Chestnut Avenue, PE1 4PE

Suitable for ages 14-18 (if you’re just outside this age bracket but really keen to come along, please message us and we’ll try and accommodate you)

Are you an aspiring artist with an interest in digital, virtual, and augmented reality? Working in VR is a real industry with real jobs just like any other, and we want to help you discover how!

If you’re still in school or college, and starting to think about what career you would like, this informal workshop is perfect to give you a starter kit of resources and opportunities to discover pathways into being an artist working with VR.

Get the inside scoop on what it’s like to make work using VR with Lee Mason, artist/virtual reality designer. Lee will share insight into his own career, his education and work experience history, the different kinds of roles available within the industry, and how you can get involved locally with upcoming opportunities. There will also be opportunities for you to get creative and have a go at some practical tasks.

All participants will receive a free information pack.
