Architectural Photography Advanced Tour

Home  /  Events  /  Art  /  Architectural Photography Advanced Tour

A masterclass for keen amateur photographers led by Adrian Stone – an experienced photographer, curator and tutor.

With the spectacular setting of the Cathedral as a backdrop, this Architectural Photography Advanced Tour is the perfect opportunity to develop your photographic skills. You will be able to hone your skills in selecting the best vantage points, using depth of field, and lighting your subject to simplify and strengthen your images. Advice will be given to learners regarding specific subjects to photograph, and students will have access to some spaces which are not often open to visitors.

The workshop will be led by Adrian Stone, who has been both the Curator and Education Officer at The Photographic Angle, a national photographic charity. He has taught at City College Peterborough for five years, and judges, lectures and runs photography workshops in the East and South East.

The shoot will be set in the context of the Cathedral’s long and eventful past, taking into account its architectural and social history.

Please bring your own camera. A digital SLR camera or bridge camera and a tripod would be ideal, but not essential.

Coffee and tea are provided, but please bring a packed lunch.

Entry costs £40. A limited number of spaces is available on this tour, so early booking is advised.
