Peterborough will be hosting its first ever Decemberfest running for six days from thursday December 19th to Tuesday December 24th hosted in the north Street Bar Courtyard Function Room.
Decemberfest is a continental Christmas festival of beer, food and fantastic live music. There’ll be a selection of over 25 beers form across Europe, to be enjoyed with a black forest themed winter wonderland, together with seasonal favourites like hot gluhwein, schnapps, mulled cider and festive food.
On Thursday and Friday the amazing Hosen Brass will be performing German Style tunes in Lederhosen, with a set list ranging from Rage Against The Machine’s Killing in the Name of to Culture Clubs Karma Chameleon! Tickets priced £16.50 or £90 for a tab;e of six including a two course meal and schnapps on arrival – Sounds like a great idea for Christmas party!
On Saturday Children of the Revolution take to the stage and on the Sunday afternoon it’s the High Rollers. On Monday 23rd the ever popular James Edmonds Performs and on Christmas Eve at 1pm i’s joe Solo’s turn, with a set to include some classic Christmas favourites. Admission for Saturday to Tuesday is Free, but for Children Of The Revolution and The High Rollers advance tickets include food and schnapps are available at £6 each or £30 for a table of six.
So dust off your lederhosen and come and raise a Stein o two at Peterborough’s first Decemberfest!
