Make your own Selfie Mask.
At the end of this workshop you will learn the basics of mask making and will also have a mask for your wall at home.
Join visual artist Ann Bellamy in this hands on workshop, Ann has some amazing experience of interpreting 2D designs into 3D objects and most of her work is based on characters that entice you into their worlds. Ann co-ordinates the wonderful Jailbirds workshop which is based in HMP Peterborough and creates amazing crafty products too.
In this workshop you will be working with clay and will learn some of the techniques needed for mask making, such as scale and modelling. Please bring along a container that can safely take home your completed mask and any donations towards materials would be gratefully received. There will also be the best chocolate brownie available too for the break time.
This inspiring workshop is part of the development for an upcoming scratch show by Peterborough based Poet Keely Mills and Ann Bellamy is designing the masked characters that are featured in the show and as part of this process Keely has asked Ann to share her fantastic skills in this session.
