Medieval Thriller Author to Visit Peterborough
An Evening with Karen Maitland
Tickets £3 (£2 concessions and reading group members)
Available from any Peterborough library or Waterstones Bridge Street
Medieval thriller writer Karen Maitland will be giving a talk in Peterborough at the end of March.
Readers are invited to come along and enjoy an evening of medieval mystery and mayhem at Peterborough Central Library, on Tuesday 31 March, at 7pm. Tickets cost £3 or £2 concessions, and can be booked at any Peterborough library or Waterstones in Peterborough.
Karen will be in Peterborough talking about her new novel The Raven’s Head.
She has now written six medieval thrillers, her first being the enduringly popular Company of Liars. She also writes joint medieval crime novels with the Medieval Murderers.
Chilling and with compelling hints of the supernatural, The Raven’s Head is a gothic delight, swirling with the smoke of alchemy about a young man whose clumsy attempt at blackmail leaves him master of a raven’s head … the Alchemical symbol of death.
