The Christmas Nave Banquet
In the magnificent setting of the Cathedral Nave, join us for a festive candlelit banquet, complete with entertainment from Cathedral musicians and an after dinner speech from star of stage and screen, Brian Blessed OBE.
The evening will begin with a Prosecco reception in the South Transept and under the Cathedral Tower, where you and your guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the decorated ceilings and high altar, and take in the sheer scale of the famous Norman architecture.
After a brief welcome from the Acting Dean of Peterborough, guests will be seated at tables of ten for a delicious three-course dinner, prepared and served by the award winning Dimblebee Catering Company. Guests will choose in advance from a tempting menu, which includes a traditional roast turkey and Christmas pudding option.
During the evening accomplished musicians from the Cathedral Choir will provide an interlude of festive music. Later, as coffee, tea and petits fours are served, you can sit back and be entertained by our after dinner speaker, the legendary actor and raconteur, Brian Blessed.
